Iraq War Fatalities Animation
Sun Jun 26, 2005 at 12:14:03 PM PDT
A very interesting
animation by Tim Klimowicz that helps you visualize the
reality of the fallen soldiers in Iraq and how different it feels from seeing a story on the news with the latest casualty numbers.

Here's your chance to mess up Drudge.
Currently, he has a poll on the headline of the year. Needless to say, most of them tend to be right-leaning.
The current leader is "BUSH WINS"
I suggest you go over there and vote for "IRAQ WAR CONTINUES AMID INSURGENCY"

The first 100 days
Sun Oct 31, 2004 at 03:40:23 PM PDT
We are now heading into the home stretch and we are going to win the White House. If we make this a decisive win then the legal battles of the coming week will be minimal. This means we can finally take a break and rest.
But Starting in November the new battle begins. President Kerry's first hundred days and a Bill that would roll back taxes on those making more than $200,000. So President Kerry has an uphill battle with a republican House that will probably be very uncooperative.
So once you recover from the celebration hangover start thinking of how we, as newly proven Democratic grassroots tool, can help President Kerry achieve his first and most important legislative victory.
We need to keep the momentum going to make President Kerry's First 100 days successful. Thankfully he won't be taking any "working vacations". Remember starting November 3rd it'll be 729 days till the next midterm elections and we have Speaker Pelosi.
KY - Republicans call Mongiardo gay
Thu Oct 28, 2004 at 04:23:14 PM PDT
So Kentucky voters now have this lovely piece of republican smearing to
listen to:
State Senate President David Williams (R-Burkesville) in two speeches Wednesday called Mongiardo "limp-wristed" and state Sen. Elizabeth Tori (R-Radcliff) in another speech said she wonders if "the word 'man' applies to him".
This from the people supporting a candidate who said:
[...]the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee began running ads attacking the 73 year old Bunning as being "out of touch." The ad shows video from last week when Bunning told reporters: "Let me explain something: I don't watch the national news, and I don't read the paper."
Politics as usual.
Congress is declaring war on immigrants!
Thu Oct 21, 2004 at 08:47:21 PM PDT
I became a U.S. citizen in 1988 when I was 8 years old. At the time I really didn't understand how difficult it is for an honest hardworking human being to be allowed to become part of the greatest democracy on the planet. My grandfather was a migrant worker for decades before he settled in Illinois. My father, as a young man, fixed railroads all over the Midwest. So it is very alarming to me that congress is trying to destroy the few rights non-citizens have in this country.
Terry McAuliffe requests post-debate action
Thu Sep 30, 2004 at 12:14:59 PM PDT
In the extended entry you can find a letter from Terry McAuliffe asking for Kerry supporters to take action before and after the debate. As you already know, it is the post-debate spin that helps define the winner.
So take action and prevent Judy, Bill and Wolf from twisting the results.
