Let's solve the housing crisis.

One of the nice things about having a holiday off is that I finally get the opportunity to post a diary during the day. This is a new experience for me. :) This one is about housing. (Big shock, I know.) So, ok. Let's do this. The solution to the housing crisis is at hand. Rejoice. It won't be popular in some circles, but I'm really beyond caring. I'm done trying to accomodate parasites, and our economy has been run by and for parasites for entirely too long. I have the solution.
Enough of freaking out about the housing market, let's FIX it.

Housing is a subject that is near and dear to my heart. I firmly believe that having a roof over one's head is one of the more critical aspects of most people's lives, and that owning that roof is beneficial to both the individual and to society as a whole. I've also followed numerous housing diaries on this forum with great interest, and agree that there is a looming housing crisis in play that we are only just starting to feel the effects of.
I'll say right now that I don't have an easy answer to this crisis. I can't fix it. I'm not sure anybody can fix it.
What I do potentially have is a way to keep it from happening again, and to possibly lessen the blow of this crisis.
Since they can't manage a deadline.... I will.

I don't post diaries often. Generally I reserve them for times when I have something more to say than I can fit into a comment. Well.... this is one of those times. I've been saying for some time now that I'm past the point of my support for the Democratic party being unconditional. Now.... some of you who wondered why have seen what I and others have been talking about.
I've held off on posting this until after things (including myself) calmed down a bit... but that time is now.
More after the fold.
Please allow me to address my esteemed Democratic Senators.

Today we saw where our current crop of Democrats in the Senate stand. I for one am not amused. Disgusted, betrayed, disappointed, and nauseous.... but not amused. More below. (This is not my first posting, but it is my first diary, so consider this part my expression of the usual disclaimers, IE if I do anything seriously messed up please let me know, yadda yadda....)
